Share Thanksgiving weekend with your
family in the warm relaxing atmosphere of Rock Springs
Guest Ranch. Our weekend begins with a traditional
feast on Thursday evening, with all the trimmings. Each
day begins with a hearty breakfast and ends with a
delicious dinner. Special dietary needs are always
accommodated, and vegetarian options are always
available.
Horseback riding is available, weather permitting. A
ride through the crisp, late fall air is unmatchable.
Our pine forest remains green year-round, and the
trails take you to areas with spectacular views. At the
end of the day, join us for another delicious dinner,
then ease into the hot tub to soak away the rigors of
the day.
Spend the weekend being as active or idle as you like.
Recreation both on property and in the Bend area
abound, and the fireplace in the lodge (or the one in
your cabin) is always inviting. If you choose to venture away
from the ranch during the day, you will find yourself
in the "Playground of the Northwest." Close-by Mt.
Bachelor offers both downhill and cross country skiing,
and snow play includes snowmobile tours, dog sled
rides, and snow shoeing. Also available are cave tours,
a visit to the High Desert Museum, and shopping in
historic downtown Bend. Typically, our area also offers
golf and Mt biking options through the winter, weather
permitting, as well.
