Conference and Retreat
Lodging
Nestled beneath tall ponderosa pine trees, the cabins at Rock
Springs conference and retreat center are finished in knotty
pine paneling, well appointed furnishings, and are decorated in
a warm western motif. Care has been taken to provide a
comfortable and inviting environment in which to begin and end
your days.
All cabins feature private entrances and bathrooms, a relaxing
sun deck,
and many also have wood burning fireplaces and wet
bars. Along with daily maid service, bath amenities include
high-end salon lotion, shampoo and conditioner, and luxurious
goat's milk soaps. Our trading post is stocked with toiletries
in case you forget anything. What you will not find are
televisions or telephones. Without these distractions, your
participants will gravitate to the lodge and common social
spaces during non-scheduled times. These informal events
provide valuable experiences which build bonds and trust
between participants.
The Owl's Nest and Killdeer cabins hearken back to days of old in Central Oregon. These units were brought over from the Brooks Scanlon Timber Company where they were the living quarters at the logging camps. Renovated to suit Rock Springs’ standard of comfort, the cabins still give one the feeling of a time long past. In all, our cabins accommodate up to 26 people single occupancy and 50 people double occupancy. Laundry facilities are available at no extra charge.
The lodge at Rock Springs is the perfect setting for relaxation
and socializing with colleagues. With decking extending the
perimeter of the lodge, there is plenty of space for visiting
with friends or finding a
quiet spot overlooking our natural spring-fed pond for
personal reflection. The massive stone fireplace, vaulted
ceiling and cozy overstuffed leather chairs in the living room
also beckon an early morning coffee before starting the day. A
small library, billiards, a game room, trading post, and bar
can also be found in our lodge.
